Walt Disney Supports Facebook Boycott

Walt Disney has significantly reduced advertising costs on Facebook and Instagram.

According to the Wall Street Journal’s own sources, the Walt Disney Company in the first half of the year was the leader in advertising costs on Facebook and ranked second in 2019.

Presumably, in the first six months of 2020, the Walt Disney Company spent about $210 million on advertising for the Disney + streaming service.

Recall that human rights organizations called on businesses to stop advertising on Facebook. After that, several corporations announced the suspension of advertising. Among such corporations are Coca-Cola, Adidas, Ford, Unilever.
