Uber Will Help Business With Driving Employees to Work

By Marko Vidrih on The Capital

Uber has accelerated the expansion of the business travel service as part of the Uber for Business Commute program.

According to a press release, thanks to the Uber for Business Commute service, companies can create special travel programs to cover the cost of delivering employees to and from office using a range of Uber products such as UberX or Uber Select.

Uber for Business allows corporate customers:

  1. choose the pick-up and drop-off points of employees to which they can book trips, including offices, places of arrival or departure of other modes,
  2. choose the time and days to provide employees with trips, be it traditional rush hours or new office hours,
  3. allow employees to travel at any time convenient for them, for example, late at night or early in the morning, providing them with a simple, affordable and safe alternative to using personal or corporate transport, and freeing them from the need to use parking.

It is noted that companies can register for free and create an account for their employees “in a matter of hours”.

Over the past few months, more and more companies are preparing to return their employees to jobs, and the demand for Commute products across Europe has grown by 120% in the first quarter of May 7, 2020, the company’s press service said.

Currently, Uber for Business service is available in 23 countries and works with 65 thousand organizations.
